COVID-19 Policy

The Richland Players are reopening and are following the current Washington State COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions. We believe that live theater is an integral part of a healthy community, and that patrons can remain safe while enjoying it. The Richland Players have implemented protocols to keep our theatre home clean, safe and sanitized, but by visiting the Richland Players you assume a possible risk of contracting COVID-19. Please adhere to the following expectations of both patrons and volunteers to help ensure that you can continue to enjoy live theater at its best: in person and with our community.

 

By purchasing a ticket you agree to abide by these policies.

The Richland Players reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who willfully disregards these expectations. 

Patrons

Facial Coverings

Per Washington State guidelines, effective as of August 23rd, 2021, facial coverings are required for all individuals (except when actively eating/drinking).

 

Vaccination Verification

Currently, the Richland Players does not require proof of vaccination status unless patron safety is in question. Unvaccinated individuals must keep their facial coverings on the entire time while at the theatre, regardless of what activities or events they are engaging in. Unvaccinated patrons are asked to choose socially distanced seating via the Box Office.

 

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing is encouraged and will be facilitated by the theater when appropriate / practical.

 

Seating

Socially-distanced seating is available for any individual and is being facilitated via the Box Office. We will take every effort to distance requested seats and reserve the right to modify any patrons' seating selections to achieve socially distanced seating as much as possible.  Exchanges will be allowed in the event that requested socially distanced seating is unavailable for a showtime requested.  Please see the Ticketing FAQ page for more information.

Volunteers

Facial Coverings

Required for all un-vaccinated individuals. Situationally, masks will be worn by every volunteer when required by current Washington State Guidelines.

Vaccination Verification

All live productions must have fully vaccinated casts.  We encourage everyone to receive an approved COVID-19 Vaccination when able or eligible. We acknowledge vaccination is a very personal medical decision. We reserve the right to request (verbally or in writing) proof of vaccination from any Richland Players volunteer.
